TUFF QUARRY
Donblasi was founded in the heart of a disused quarry,
the same one from which the material to build Manduria
was extracted. Today, what was once a silent and abandoned
place has become an integral part of our identity.
We have transformed a historic quarry into a cutting-edge
winemaking project. The winery does not overwhelm the
past but enhances it, with an imposing yet perfectly
integrated architecture. We blend nature, history, and
innovation into a new way of experiencing wine and
the land that generates it.

We designed our bottles as objects of identity. Every
curve, every proportion, every detail is conceived to
convey elegance, coherence, and recognizability. We
didn’t limit ourselves to form; we imagined the
experience, the gesture, the sensation. The labels are
inspired by real photographs taken inside the winery.
Abstract, visceral, authentic, they transform textures,
reflections, and architectural details into distinctive
signs. We carefully selected materials and colors,
creating packaging capable of combining complexity
and refinement.
For us, design is the most silent and elegant way to
express who we are.
